Transfer Policy of University Medical and Dental College on vacant seats (session 2021-22)

General Rules:

Female students studying in any other recognized Medical & Dental Colleges with Pakistan Medical Commission are eligible to apply for transfer to MBBS in 1st year Session 2021-22.

  • vacant seats will be announced on University Medical and Dental College website. Vacant seats will be filled within the timeline and as per the guidelines of the Pakistan Medical Commission.
  • All the transfers/migration against any vacant seats will be filled purely on merit.
  • 50% marks of Fsc (Pre-Medical) and 10% marks of Matric, 20% marks of MDCAT, and 20% marks of Interview scores will be used for merit calculation.
  • The list of all the applicants will be displayed on our college website.
  • The final list of applicants for transfer to University Medical & Dental College will be sent to PMC for scrutinizing the academic records, study gap (if any), time period, and curriculum.
  • After completion of the review process by the PMC, the selected students will be called for joining the 1st year class at University Medical & Dental College.
  • Selected students have to deposit the college fee & as per notified fee schedule of the professional year/session in which she is migrating.
  • as per the college fee policy within three working days.
  • The students who fail to join and submit college fees & dues within due time, will be not entitled to consider for admission.
  • The vacant seats will be filled from the waiting list of students who have applied for the vacant seat by the following merit.
  • Migration Request of any student who was granted admission in violation of admission criteria/ Regulations of the Pakistan Medical Commission shall not be entertained.
Process of Transfer
  • Announcement of Vacant seat on UMDC website.
  • Students, who are willing to transfer in 1st Prof MBBS and BDS (Session 2021-22) in UMDC (as per PMC policy) can apply through the “Online Transfer Application Form”
  • Submission of Migration request on the prescribed application form along with required documents.
  • Scrutiny of documents by migration committee.
  • Selection of the candidate on merit.
  • Admission confirmation after payment of requisite dues within the due date.
Documents to be attached:
  1. Matric / O levels Equivalence certificate
  2. F.Sc / A levels Equivalence certificate
  3. MDCAT Result
  4. Domicile
  5. Passport size picture
  6. CNIC Copy (Student and Father)
  7. Previous Transcript / result cards issued by the releasing institution/ University
