UMDC Students Participate in Face Congress 2026
Final year BDS students attended Face Congress 2026, gaining valuable learning experiences, clinical insights, and networking opportunities with leading oral and maxillofacial surgeons.
Madinah Foundation established a Medical College in 2003 and Dental College in 2008 to fill the vacuum in medical and dental education in Faisalabad for girls. University Medical & Dental College is recently awarded Grade A by the Pakistan Medical Commission owing to its high standard of academics, outstanding faculty & state of the art infrastructure and facilities. Madina Teaching Hospital (MTH) is a General Hospital with 600 beds, attached to University Medical and Dental College (UMDC), and The University of Faisalabad (TUF). It is recognized and approved by Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC), University of Health Sciences (UHS), College of Physician and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) and Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) as a teaching hospital for Graduates and Post Graduate programmes. Hospital is licensed by Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC). Dedicated team of qualified and experienced doctors, nurses and paramedics are working round the clock to fulfill its mission towards continuous delivery of services and healthcare facilities among the ailing humanity. An average OPD is 2000 patients with 120 admissions and 80 Operations per day. MTH has been awarded the ‘Corporate Social Responsibility Award’ in 2015, 2017 and 2019.

The Department of Basic Dental Sciences organized a poster competition, encouraging BDS students to showcase creativity, scientific knowledge, and presentation skills.
The Department of Pathology, UMDC marked World Thalassemia Day with a video competition to raise awareness about prevention, screening, and support for thalassemia patients.
