Dental Faculty Conducts Basic Life Support Workshop for Faculty and Staff

The Dental Faculty successfully conducted a hands-on workshop on Basic Life Support (BLS) on 21 January 2026 for its faculty members and supporting staff. The workshop was designed to enhance emergency preparedness and equip participants with essential life-saving skills relevant to dental and clinical settings.

The session was expertly facilitated by Dr. Salman Azhar, who provided comprehensive training on the principles of Basic Life Support, including early recognition of medical emergencies, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), airway management, and effective response during cardiac arrest situations.

Through interactive demonstrations and practical exercises, participants gained valuable confidence in managing medical emergencies that may arise during clinical practice. The workshop emphasized the critical role of timely intervention and teamwork in improving patient outcomes.

The Dental Faculty remains committed to continuous professional development and prioritizes patient safety by organizing such skill-based training programs for its faculty and staff.
