A seminar entitled "Dream Big, Create Your Own Path: Informed Choices in Professional and Personal Life" was organized for the medical students of UMDC by the Final Year MBBS organizing team under the supervision of Prof Aisha Sajid. Principal UMDC, Prof Dr Akram Malik, and Vice Principal, Prof Dr Shirza Nadeem, emphasized the importance of such interactive sessions, highlighting that constructive dialogue between faculty and students offers clearer guidance for the students’ academic and professional development.
The first segment, titled "Physician Insight into Different Specialties," addressed career pathways and opportunities within the medical profession, providing valuable direction for aspiring doctors.
Subsequent segments featured esteemed panelists who discussed the significance of maintaining work-life balance and personal well-being alongside professional obligations. The discussion also encompassed critical workplace topics, including conflict management, professional boundaries, and effective communication with male and female colleagues within hospital settings.
