UMDC Hosted Heartfelt Mehfil-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) in Celebration of Rabi-ul-Awwal

In a spirit of devotion and reverence, the Department of Biochemistry at the University Medical & Dental College (UMDC) organized a soulful Mehfil-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) to celebrate the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal.

The event featured inspiring Naat recitations and a captivating calligraphy competition, where participants beautifully expressed their love and admiration for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Naat competition:

  • Ist position: Noor Fatima Final yr MBBS
  • 2nd position: Roha Masood 4th year MBBS
  • 3rd position: Eman khalid Ist year BDS

Calligraphy competition:

  • First position: Roha Masood 4th year MBBS
  • Second Position: Eman Imtiaz Second year MBBS
  • Third position: Maleeha Akbar Second year MBBS

The Mehfil was a heartwarming display of spiritual connection, as students and faculty gathered to honor the life and teachings of the beloved Prophet (SAW). The atmosphere was filled with deep affection as participants renewed their commitment to embodying the principles of 'Seerat-un-Nabi (SAW)' in their lives. The calligraphy competition added a creative touch to the celebration, with students showcasing their talent by artistically rendering verses and praises of the Prophet (SAW).
