UMDC Participates in HESP 2026 Health & Education Summit

A team from University Medical & Dental College (UMDC), led by Vice Principal Prof. Dr. Shirza Nadeem and Associate Professor Dr. Sana Akram, attended the HESP 2026 - Health & Education Summit & Expo Pakistan as Guests of Honour and a collaborating institution. Held at the Expo Centre, Lahore, the two-day summit brought together key stakeholders from the health and education sectors, including government officials, diplomats, international delegates, vice chancellors, principals, academicians, and representatives of public and private medical institutions.

Distinguished national personalities addressed the gathering, including Federal Minister for Climate Change Dr. Musadik Masood Malik, Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, and the Minister for Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education, alongside other prominent leaders and representatives from the health and education sectors.

The second day of HESP 2026 was designated as a Public Day, with the Expo Hall opened to the general public. The programme featured exhibitions, industry stalls, and medical college open houses, providing institutions and organisations with an interactive platform to showcase their work, engage with visitors, and develop professional connections.

Overall, HESP 2026 provided a significant platform for advancing dialogue around policy, progress, and partnership in health and education. UMDC’s participation reflected its commitment to contributing to the evolving national and international dialogue in these sectors.
