Introduction
The Department of Neurosurgery at University Medical & Dental College (UMDC) and Madinah Teaching Hospital, Faisalabad, is a rapidly growing centre dedicated to excellence in patient care, medical education, and advanced neurosurgical training. Despite being recently established, the department has achieved significant milestones and is now formally recognized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) for structured Residency Training. The department provides comprehensive diagnostic, surgical, and emergency neurosurgical services for disorders of the brain, spine, and peripheral nervous system. With a strong commitment to patient safety, innovation, and academic development, the department continues to expand its clinical and educational services to meet regional healthcare needs.
