The department is fully equipped to provide non-surgical periodontal therapies including: Ultrasonic Scaling, Manual Scaling, Root Planing, Polishing, Stain Removal, Fluoride Application and surgical periodontal therapies including: Curettage, Periodontal Pocket Therapy, Gingivectomy, Gingivoplasty etc. Prime importance is given on preventive oral care. A lot of emphasis is given on patient education and motivation for proper brushing and flossing techniques to maintain and practice good oral hygiene.

To provide comprehensive periodontal care the department is well established with Hi-Tech dental units and related modern armamentarium.
The University of Faisalabad always emphasizes maintaining sustainability in the environment. Following Prime Minister Imran Khan "Monsoon Plantation Drive" The University of Faisalabad also initiated Tree Plantation Campaign on 10th August 2021
