The Department of Rheumatology at UMDC focuses on the diagnosis and management of autoimmune, inflammatory and degenerative joint diseases. The department equips students with essential knowledge to recognize systemic rheumatic conditions and their impact on overall health through Department of Rheumatology MBBS education.

Teaching is delivered through clinical rotations, case discussions, and exposure to outpatient-based management of chronic rheumatic diseases. The department also offers post graduate training in FCPS that is accredited with CPSP. Rheumatology clinical training at UMDC helps students gain practical experience in patient care and disease management.
