The Department of Ophthalmology has a dedicated area for outpatient clinics composed of 20 rooms, separate from the Outpatient Clinics of all the other departments. This dedicated space includes a diagnostics corridor lined with a number of rooms accommodating our vast range of diagnostic machinery including
- B scan Ultrasonography,
- Optical Coherence Tomography,
- Fundus Camera,
- IOL Master,
- Galilei Corneal Tomographer,
- Keratometer,
- Autorefractometers,
- Octopus Visual Field Analyser,
- A-Scan,
- Air Puff Tonometer
- A wide range of orthoptic machinery and instruments.
We have four separate rooms dedicated for objective and subjective refraction as well as evaluation of our refractive surgery patients.
There is a suite for minor operations as well as separate rooms for Yag Laser and Argon Laser all within the ophthalmology clinic
- Ophthalmology clinic area and main reception are adjacent to the hospital information and patient financial services desk on the same floor. Upon check-in at the main reception desk the patients are directed to the waiting area. There are 4 exam rooms including a separate room for vitreo-retina. Each room has a team of consultant, medical officer and resident to provide best possible care to our patients.
- We have developed these facilities with the sole purpose of providing excellent patient care as well as the best possible training to our residents.
Other corrective services for Uveitis, Inherited Eye Diseases, Neuro-ophthalmology, Oculoplastics, Strabismus, Vision Rehabilitation and Low Vision Aids are also provided
