Physiology for MBBS Students

In the MBBS program at UMDC, Physiology is taught during the first two academic years. Teaching methodologies include lectures, practical laboratory work, tutorials, and interactive learning sessions. The department follows a modular integrated curriculum, ensuring close linkage between theoretical concepts and their clinical applications.

Physiology for BDS Students

For BDS students, physiology teaching is tailored to emphasize body systems most relevant to dental sciences. The Department of Physiology works in close coordination with Anatomy and Biochemistry departments to ensure a comprehensive understanding of structure–function relationships essential for dental practice.

Postgraduate Training Programs

The Department of Physiology at UMDC is actively involved in postgraduate education. The department is recognized for FCPS Physiology and MPhil Physiology, approved by CPSP & HEC. These postgraduate programs aim to develop skilled physiologists capable of contributing to academia, research, and healthcare education.
