Prosthodontics is a branch of dentistry concerned with the replacement of lost oral and facial structures by artificial substitutes for the restoration of aesthetics, function and psychological well-being of the patient.It covers the clinical patient interaction with the patients and laboratory techniques. This subject is taught in the 3rd year and final year BDS. The syllabus includes the following topics;

  • Fabrication of Removable Complete & Partial Dentures
  • Maxillo-facial Prosthodontics
  • Fixed Prosthodontics
  • Dental Implants
