Introduction
The Department of Oral Medicine (OM) at the University Medical & Dental College (UMDC) Faisalabad is a leading center dedicated to providing diagnosis & treatment to patients, comprehensive clinical training, and academic excellence, supporting Dental Education in Oral Medicine. The department diagnoses and manages non-surgical diseases of the mouth, jaw, and face, bridging dentistry and medicine by focusing on conditions like oral mucosal diseases, salivary gland disorders, orofacial pain, TMJ issues, and oral manifestations of systemic illnesses (like autoimmune or cancer-related problems), using history, examination, biopsy and radiology for holistic, medically-focused patient care.
