Introduction
The Department of Breast Surgery at University Medical & Dental College (UMDC) is dedicated to the diagnosis, surgical management, and comprehensive care of benign and malignant breast diseases. The Department leads in modern, oncoplastic breast surgery — combining cancer care with the best cosmetic outcomes. Our undergraduates don’t wait until post-graduation to learn this. From early clinical years, our students attend Breast MDTs, observe oncoplastic cases, and understand the principles of breast conservation and reconstruction.
We train tomorrow’s surgeons to be both technically skilled and deeply patient-focused.
