A graduate of Rawalpindi medical college, Dr Shirza Nadeem joined the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology at UMDC in 2006. She completed her postgraduate education in Forensic Medicine from Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI), Lahore in 2009 and achieved academic excellence by receiving two Gold medals. Her journey to Professorship is an example of hard work, dedication & passion towards teaching & learning.
For the last 14 years, Dr Shirza has been serving at UMDC in various capacities. In addition to being head of Forensic Medicine department, she is Coordinator Basic Sciences, Joint Director Department of Medical Education & Coordinator of ECFMG.
Dr Shirza research interest centers on the role of anthropometry in Forensic Medicine to establish personal identity. With her diligent work she has published multiple articles in reputable national journals. Her future research aims to explore the innovative teaching methodologies in medical education especially in Forensic Medicine.
