Dr. Fauzia Jan, graduate of Punjab Medical College Faisalabad. She was awarded silver medal for excellent academic performance. She joined biochemistry department in 2005. She completed her MPhil in biochemistry from The University of Faisalabad. Her commitment and hard work led her to the current position of leadership.
She has done Certificate in Teaching and Learning organized by medical education department. Since last 18 years she worked in various capacities at UMDC including coordinator of the department, member of discipline committee, focal person of yearly committee for integrated curriculum, member convocation committee and sports committee.
Her research Interest was to see the biochemical parameters deranged in diabetes mellitus including the association of dyslipidemia and mineral levels with diabetes mellitus type 2. Her future interest is on studying the associated changes at biochemical and molecular level in current era of viral onslaught. She is also interested to highlight the impact of changing lifestyle on mental health of medical and dental students.
The University of Faisalabad always emphasizes maintaining sustainability in the environment. Following Prime Minister Imran Khan "Monsoon Plantation Drive" The University of Faisalabad also initiated Tree Plantation Campaign on 10th August 2021
